pidgin-mpris software package provides sets your available message to your currently playing track, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pidgin-mpris
pidgin-mpris is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pidgin-mpris package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pidgin-mpris *
You will get with pidgin-mpris package name, version, architecture and description in a table
